Terms of Service

1. Use of the Service

The Lead Hunter ("we", "us", or "our") provides a web-based platform that allows users to search for UK businesses, view lead scores and contact details, save leads, and export data. By creating an account or using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service.

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate registration information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

2. Subscription Plans

We offer the following subscription tiers:

• Free — £0/month, includes account access with no monthly searches.
• Hunter — £29/month, includes up to 100 searches per month.
• Pro — £79/month, includes unlimited searches.

Plan features, limits, and pricing may be updated from time to time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes to paid plans.

3. Payment Terms

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. All prices are quoted in GBP and include applicable VAT where required.

If a payment fails, we may suspend access to paid features until payment is successfully processed. You are responsible for keeping your billing information up to date via the Stripe customer portal.

4. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your paid subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain access to paid features until that date. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods unless required by law.

Upon cancellation or expiry, your account reverts to the Free plan. Saved leads and account data remain accessible subject to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of UK law, including GDPR and PECR.
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures.
• Send unsolicited bulk communications (spam) using data obtained through the service.
• Share your account credentials or resell access to the platform.
• Use automated tools to exceed fair usage limits on any plan.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate acceptable use without refund.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Lead Hunter is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Business data is sourced from third-party providers including Google Places and may contain inaccuracies. We do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or suitability of any lead data for your specific purposes.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Lead Hunter shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
